What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Material Handler position at Flowly Solutions?
Flowly Solutions is actively hiring multiple experienced forklift material handlers for our warehouse team.
These are full time positions with opportunities for overtime for high performing employees. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, no weekend work will be required. We are flexible on the exact schedule you will be working based on your availability.
Prior experience driving a forklift is required to be considered for this role. We are open to training the right employees on our specific machinery. The work day will be spent pulling orders and preparing them for shipment. This role is very physical and will require you to stand for extended periods of time.
We are a relocation business specializing in moving, assembling and repair. We offer a variety of other services as well.
Responsibilities:
- Operating a forklift and an electric pallet jack to perform working duties
- Passing our forklift certification trainings and classes
- Using a scanner to locate items throughout the warehouse
- Preparing outgoing orders for shipment and using the computer to print shipping labels
- Learning to operate our computer systems to effectively manage inventory
- Loading trucks either by hand or with the electric pallet jack
- Working directly with your team and manager to complete projects effectively
- Learning new skills and taking on additional job responsibilities
- Maintaining the facility to ensure items are organized
Qualifications:
- Prior experience operating a forklift
- The physical ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for the entire work day
- Basic computer literacy and experience using a scanner
- Customer service experience is a plus but it is not required
- Reliable transportation to work
- No formal education is required
