What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator position at Flowly Solutions?

Flowly Solutions is actively hiring for multiple forklift operators for our warehouse team.

These are Monday through Friday positions and will require you to work full time, 40 hours weekly. Some overtime may be required based on project needs. We are somewhat flexible on the exact working hours of this job.

You must be experienced operating a forklift to be considered for this role. The majority of the work day will be spent pulling orders and replenishing racks with inventory. This is a physically involved position and will require you to remain on your feet for the entire day.

We are a relocation business specializing in moving, assembling and repair. We offer a variety of other services as well.

Responsibilities:

Using a forklift safely and effectively to move materials throughout the facility
Loading and unloading trucks either by hand or with an electric pallet jack
Becoming forklift certified and passing our certification classes
Using a scanner to keep track of inventory and item count
Quality checking incoming orders to ensure all products are accounted for and free from damage
Using the computer to print labels and prepare orders for shipment
Checking product numbers carefully to assemble the correct order
Working directly with clients to assist them in finding their purchase
Taking direction from your manager and working with your team to complete projects

Qualifications:

Prior experience working in a warehouse setting is preferred but it is not required
Strong knowledge of forklift operation
Experience with shipping is a plus
The ability to lift 50 pounds and stand the entire shift
Computer literacy and the ability to type
Reliable transportation to work
No formal education is required
