What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Manager position at Flowly Solutions?
Flowly Solutions is actively hiring for an experienced quality manager for our production team.
This is a permanent, full time position with opportunities to grow within the business. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, you will not be required to work on the weekends. We are flexible on the exact schedule you will be working based on your availability.
We are seeking a candidate with strong knowledge in ISO requirements in a manufacturing setting. Prior experience working with electronic manufacturing is preferred but it is not required. We are willing to train on our specific products. The position will require you to oversee the entire quality department. You must be a self starter and able to continually educate yourself on all related compliance requirements.
We are a relocation business specializing in moving, assembling and repair. We offer a variety of other services as well.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all areas of quality within production from start to finish
- Developing and leading continuous improvement initiatives to decrease waste and increase quality
- Overseeing the implementation and training of employee training procedures
- Completing internal and external ISO audits to keep the company within compliance
- Communicating directly with each department to refine preventative maintenance programs
- Creating and using lean manufacturing concepts
- Maintaining all documentation related to ISO compliance
- Working directly with customers to continually improve products and mitigate issues
- Completing final inspections on new products and finished projects
Qualifications:
- A strong understanding of ISO compliance
- Having ASQ certifications are a plus but are not required
- Experience with lean manufacturing
- Prior direct managerial experience
- Fantastic communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of OSHA compliance requirements is a plus but is not required
- Reliable transportation to work
- No formal education is required
