What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Forklift Driver position at Flowly Solutions?
Flowly Solutions is actively hiring for a skilled forklift operator for our warehouse team.
This is a full time position with opportunities for overtime based on work requirements. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, no weekend work will be offered.
Prior experience operating a forklift is required to be considered for this role. You must be willing to work in a fast paced and physically involved environment. We are willing to train the right candidate on our specific forklifts. The majority of the work day will be spent pulling orders and preparing them for customer pick up.
We are a relocation business specializing in moving, assembling and repair. We offer a variety of other services as well.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and effectively operating a forklift and an electric pallet jack
- Completing our forklift certification classes
- Pulling orders using a scanner and preparing them for shipment
- Palletizing products and ensuring all items are accounted for
- Completing cycle counts and inventory checks on a weekly basis
- Working with your team to complete tasks
- Loading and unloading trucks either by hand or with the forklift
- Quality checking your work to check for mistakes
- Assisting in other departments if it is required
Qualifications:
- A strong ability to operate a forklift
- The physical ability to lift 50 pounds
- Great communication
- Computer literacy and experience using a scanner
- Reliable transportation to work
- No formal education is required
