Flownamics, Inc., located in Madison, WI, is the worldwide leader in on-line sampling systems for biotech and pharmaceutical companies. We are seeking a full-time Device Assembler in Madison, WI.
The Device Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing Flownamics products in order to meet customers needs and satisfaction. The ideal applicant will have strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with experience in electro-mechanical assemblies. The Device Assembler will be involved in diagnosing assembly issues and conducting repairs, all while ensuring compliance with the company's quality standards.

Flownamics offers competitive benefits, including additional paid time off (beyond employee PTO), to all full-time employees following a 90-day probationary period:
- Paid 5 day weekend the week of July 4th
- Paid 5 day weekend the week of Thanksgiving
- 1/2 day paid time off the Friday before Memorial Day

Device Assembler Responsibilities
- Assemble, manufacture and test finished and semi-finished product, in accordance with quality system requirements, manufacturing procedures, and manufacturing instructions
- Perform top level and sub-assembly diagnosis and repair as required
- Utilize various common hand tools and power tools proficiently
- Inform supervisor of any safety or quality issues
- Participate in the development and review of manufacturing procedures to help ensure that manufacturing requirements and goals are met.
- Assist in the development of manufacturing instructions that document and control the manufacturing process
- Assist in the development of manufacturing tool and fixture requirements and promote ongoing control
- Provide feedback to Engineering personnel concerning manufacturing needs and product enhancements to improve both quality and ease of manufacturing/servicing the product
Device Assembler Basic Qualifications
- Associate degree in a production, manufacturing engineering, general engineering field, or at least 3 years experience working in a related field.
- Experience in interpretation and use of product design drawings, Bill of Materials, and related documentation
- Perform repetitive tasks while seated or standing for extended periods, as required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Exhibit excellent hand-to-hand and hand-to-eye coordination
- Knowledge of circuit board assembly
- Soldering through hole and surface mount boards
- Follow written and verbal instructions accurately
Device Assembler Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in ESD and cleanliness special control processes
- 2-year college technical degree program in electronics or equivalent
