Sunbelt Supply is a subsidiary of FloWorks International LLC, which is a privately held company located in Pasadena, Texas.
The Lead Expeditor is responsible for supporting management by acting as the first line of assistance for associates to ensure all MRO day to day orders and Capital Project orders are executed from order entry to shipment to the customer.
Some of the exciting things you will do in this role...
Lead the Backlog Review meetings to ensure all orders are managed by the expeditors and sales teams.
Participate in and/or lead project/large order kick off meetings.
Reviews new orders and vendor purchase orders for entry errors.
Issues written and oral instructions concerning order execution.
Coaches and trains expeditors on the proper execution of expeditor duties, ensures policies and procedures are followed.
Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiencies.
Provide weekly sales/margin forecasts to the branch management team.
Responsible for ensuring timely delivery of material and required documents.
Managing multiple orders in an effective and organized manner.
Understanding warehouse receiving/shipping procedures.
A must…
HS Diploma or GED required.
Generally, 3-5 years of experience in related areas of responsibility.
Telephone etiquette
Excellent follow-up and organizational skills
Ability to professionally lead staff by example and handle light supervisory duties. Familiar with training and coaching techniques.
Ability to change or adapt work practices, priorities, or procedures.
Ability to think and take constructive action in work-related matters.
