The Order Processing Associate is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of customer orders within the durable goods manufacturing sector. This position is responsible for accurately entering and managing orders from receipt to fulfillment, ensuring that all customer requirements are met in a timely manner. The associate will collaborate closely with various departments, including production, shipping, and customer service, to resolve any issues that may arise during the order lifecycle. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential, as the role involves tracking inventory levels and coordinating with suppliers. Ultimately, the Order Processing Associate contributes significantly to customer satisfaction and the overall success of the manufacturing operation.
Some of the exciting things you will do in this role...
- Receive and review customer orders for accuracy and completeness.
- Enter orders into the company’s order management system and ensure timely processing.
- Coordinate with production and shipping teams to schedule order fulfillment and delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with suppliers to maintain stock availability.
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to orders, including returns and exchanges.
A must…
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in order processing or a similar administrative role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Experience in the durable goods manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with order management software and inventory systems.
