Applied Controls is a manufacturer's representative of industrial process controls, serving the oil & gas, refining, power, chemical, food & beverage, cement and general industry. We represent quality manufacturers of process controls in the following categories: on-line analyzers, measurement instruments, electrical controls, heat trace/heating systems.
Applied Controls is a subsidiary of FloWorks International, LLC. which is a privately held company located in Pasadena, Texas.
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for providing pre- and post-sale direct technical sales, evaluating customer requirements, developing relationships face to face, phone, electronic communication, and social media, within a geographical territory.

Enhances team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical questions for client; mentoring team members.
Contributes to sales team effort by delivering technical presentations and demonstrations.
Provides technical support to clients by maintaining advanced product knowledge; product training; assisting in process control solutions.
Identifies sales requirements by establishing personal rapport with persons in the position to understand service requirements.
Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.
A must...
Experience/knowledge industrial electrical/instrumentation.
Prior Outside Sales experience.
Organizational skills and time management.
Effective communications skills both written and verbal for interface with Clients and co-workers.
Ability to multitask, use initiative, and sometimes work under pressure to achieve deadlines.
Motivation to contribute to and develop with the company as growth/ diversification continues.
Ability to work in a team environment (Application Engineers/Specialists, Customer Service)
Effective computer skills: Microsoft Office Software, Excel, and other Company and discipline specific software applications.
