The Field Foreman isresponsible for operating in the field, on-call or provides technical support to assigned customers. Work in a leadsman role and or in a supervision position. Installs, configures, performs problem determination, and maintains products and equipment at customer sites, following construction drawings, blueprints, and manufacturer's instructions, utilizing product and technical knowledge of equipment. Repairs or coordinates repair of worn or defective products or equipment. Perform skilled, technical work in the design, installation, testing, calibration, maintenance, and repair for assigned product or process. Must be able to field and shop fuse up to 65” HDPE pipe and Electrofusion Couplings up to 24”.

- Demonstrates ability to work in a team environment.
- Directly supervises, trains, and coordinates the activities of daily crew members.
- Understands and communicates safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance in all areas of safety, while identifying the needs for crew safety training with responsibility and accountability for the safety of the crews under their direction.
- Translates general work requirements into a prioritized work plan for each crew.
- Inspects work site to determine sequencing and method of pipe installation and survey for potential hazards or safety concerns.
- Provides technical solutions and design implementations for products and services. Performs routine analysis, calculations, and recommends changes. Diagnoses and reports malfunctions.
- Builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs, and modifies equipment, parts, components, and assemblies.
- Learns and understands technical equipment; attends training and completes certification as required.
- Completes required documentation, forms, etc. for job at hand (i.e., JSA, Vehicle Inspections, Equipment Inspections, etc.)
- Accountable for the preparation of reports as required by branch and customers.
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
- HS Diploma or GED required.
- Previous HDPE experience. 2 - 5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to apply effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing required.

- Usually in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort from such things as dust, fumes or odors.
- Must continuously stand or walk or regularly requires lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment of moderate weight (8 - 20 pounds).
- Typically requires overnight travel more than 10% of the time.
- Must be able to be on call at times and work overtime when needed.
