The role of a CNC Machinist is crucial in producing mechanical seal parts, utilizing various machine tools to set up and operate. The successful candidate will possess knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC lathes and mills with precision
- Maintain and repair equipment as needed
- Follow health, safety, and environmental guidelines
- Ensure operational compliance with quality standards and regulatory codes
- Utilize precision measuring equipment and interpret drawings and geometric tolerances
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience operating CNC lathes (primary) and mills (secondary)
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Manual lathe and mill operation, bar stock saws, and/or CNC machine equipment
- Excellent verbal communication and planning/organizing skills
- HS Diploma/GED and 5 years of relevant experience
