High-Tolerance Fabricator
Flowserve Corporation is seeking a skilled High-Tolerance Fabricator to join our team.
Key Duties:
- Set up and operate manual lathes and CNC equipment
- Maintain high precision machining tolerances /- .001
- Grind and machine tools with high tolerance requirements
- Utilize overhead jib cranes, ergonomics, and inspection equipment
- Conduct self-inspections of parts for quality control
- Apply trigonometry to find dimensions and measurements
- Understand geometric tolerancing principles and apply them in machining operations
- Work efficiently and safely to meet production goals and deadlines
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in machining operations in a manufacturing or repair environment
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, geometric tolerances, and finishes
- Ability to work overtime and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced environment
- Machinist certification, training, or degree related to machining (a plus)
- Experience in high mix, low volume manufacturing environments
- Forklift certification for safe material handling
