Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manual Lathe Machinist who can set up and operate manual lathes to produce precision parts by applying knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual lathes to produce precision parts.
• Interpret and use precision measuring equipment/instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, and depth gauges.
• Carry out operational tasks by following established processes.
• Help maintain and repair equipment by carrying out preparations and providing assistance.
• FOLLOW A STRAIGHTFORWARD MANDATORY PROCEDURE TO ENSURE THAT WORK IS CARRIED OUT TO THE REQUIRED QUALITY STANDARDS AND/OR TO ENSURE ADHERENCE TO EXTERNAL REGULATORY CODES AND INTERNAL CODES OF CONDUCT.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Aptitude on computer software.
• The ability to work overtime, most likely on Mondays.
• Ability to work with guidance to understand policies and procedures, while making sure they match organizational strategies and objectives.
