As a Material Planner, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of pump materials and products within your company's manufacturing operations maintaining an efficient inventory. - Safety Stock Analysis: Review safety stock and system parameters before releasing planned orders. Analyze and request expedites as needed to maintain adequate inventory levels.
- Offsite Warehouse Management: Review sales orders with inventory stored offsite and incorporate them into daily requests. Coordinate with receiving to manage the flow of items to and from offsite warehouses.
- Inventory Management: Consolidate requests to bring materials from offsite warehouses. Monitor daily shipments against requests and address any discrepancies.
- Inventory Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies by coordinating with storerooms, offsite warehouses, and buyers.
- Forecast Management: Update organization item master forecast settings and generate/upload new forecasted demands regularly.
- Safety Stock and Master Data Updates: Conduct quarterly reviews and updates of safety stock levels. Calculate and upload ABC/XYZ classifications on the Oracle Org Item Master.
- OSMI Activities: Perform various OSMI activities such as disposal lists, consume with substitution, machining, and focus on re-ID.
- On-Site Support: Enter data, conduct discrepancy research, and transact for offsite physical inventory as needed.
- Planned Order Review: Review planned orders regularly and address any incorrect data related to planners, make/buy decisions, etc.
- Master Data Management: Update master data as required to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Pegging Review: Monitor items missing pegging and coordinate with purchasing to update planner codes/buyers.
- Inventory Reporting: Maintain inventory reports to track and analyze inventory levels, trends, and performance metrics.
- 3 years Inventory Experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Experience in industrial engineering or related fields.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex contexts efficiently.
- Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ownership and accountability for assigned tasks.
- Oracle ERP
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3-5 years of experience at the staff level.
