Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manual lathes with exposure to CNC equipment, ensuring precision results.
- Work safely in a manufacturing environment, adhering to established guidelines and protocols.
- Perform precision tool grinding and utilize overhead jib cranes, ergonomics, and inspection equipment effectively.
- Conduct self-inspection of parts and apply trigonometry to determine dimensions.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of geometric tolerancing and work efficiently and safely.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in machining, preferably in a manufacturing or repair environment.
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, geometric tolerances, and finishes.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
- Machinist certification, training, or degree related to machining (a plus).
- Experience in high mix, low volume manufacturing environment.
- Forklift certification.
