Flowserve Port Arthur seeks a skilled CNC Machinist to work a weekend shift. The successful candidate will set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce mechanical seal parts, applying knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.
Job Description:
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills with precision
- Maintain and repair equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Adhere to operational compliance protocols and quality standards
- Interpret drawings and geometric tolerances using precision measuring equipment
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating CNC lathes (primary) and mills (secondary)
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Manual lathe and mill operation, bar stock saws, and/or CNC machine equipment
- Strong verbal communication and planning/organizing skills
- High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of relevant experience
