About this Role
This position involves performing high-temperature fabrication and welding tasks, requiring expertise in various welding methods.
You will work in a fast-paced environment, handling tight deadlines, complex tasks, and collaborating with colleagues.
The shift hours for this role are Monday to Thursday, from 3:30 pm to 2 am, with training on the first shift required for up to six months.
Responsibilities
- Select the most suitable welding method for high-temperature tasks.
- Properly identify materials and prepare components for welding, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Perform high-temperature welding repairs on raw and finished parts.
- Meet production efficiency, schedules, and scrap rates.
- Record accurate and timely data on computer-based systems or manual logs.
- Implement safety protocols, wearing protective equipment, and following procedures.
- Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and workspace.
- Evaluate and discuss quality workmanship related to high-temperature fabrication and welding.
- Display a customer-service mindset for on-time delivery and quality work.
- Reliably attend work, willing to work overtime.
Requirements
- Experience in manufacturing environments with high-temperature fabrication and welding responsibilities.
- Ability to stand for long periods, frequently lift up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift heavier loads.
- Obtain ASME welder certifications within six months of employment (horizontal stick/tig and flat mig).
