What are the responsibilities and job description for the Precision Assembler position at Flowserve?
- Know and understand all SPP’s and maintenance bulletins that pertain to all valves required to be assembled in this position.
- Proper installation of valve positioners and accessories and perform diagnostic testing Resolve/Troubleshoot issues within assembly.
- Participate in CIP activities as asked/needed and comply with all Flowserve policies and procedures.
- Requires an in-depth knowledge of control valves, positioners, accessories.
- May be required to train other employee’s on valve assemblies and testing.
- Willing to learn and move to other assembly areas as asked or needed. Willing to work overtime as required with little to no notice.
- 3-5 years of control valve assembly & troubleshooting experience (new equipment & repair), seat leak testing & ability to decipher schematic drawings.
- Knowledge of control valves, positioners, diagnostic testing, accessories, tubing, hydro testing.
- Ability to read and review a spec sheet and ensure build meets all specifications.
- General certificate of education or vocational training.
- HS Diploma/GED.
