What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Estimator position at Flowtec Group?
Company Overview:
For over 80 years, my client has built up a reputation for being one of the best contractors in the Chicagoland area and are now they are expanding and looking for a Senior Estimator to lead their NW Indiana office. With over $300M in yearly revenue, this new office will be a key investment point in achieving their $400M goal by 2026. The ownership/leadership team is excited about getting an experienced Estimator on board and have already established a support team of PM's and Supers to run the work.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performing Takeoffs, solicit subs, build estimates assist in handoff of award, etc.
- Review and complete understanding of contract specifications and drawings
- Conducting site visits and performing field measurements
Required Skills & Abilities:
- HCSS, Agtek and Viewpoint knowledge preferred
- Earthwork take off software and bidding software knowledge required
- Ability to work well in a close team setting
- Flexible schedule availability
- Must be capable of bidding work as a GC a well as a subcontractor
Education & Experience:
- 5 years of excavation estimating experience necessary
- Bachelors Degree in Construction Management tor related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience estimating in Southern Chicago and Northern IN markets
Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
