JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for collecting and balancing all Bus pass revenue received at the Midtown Transit Station and for general customer service assisting customers with questions about Transit service, destinations, and fare.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of city and departmental policies and procedures pertaining to Transit service.
- Basic knowledge of accounting.
- Skill in operating office equipment such as a computer, telephone, calculator, and copier.
- Skill in oral and written communication.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Two years’ experience in Customer Service.
- Already possess or obtain National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) 100 and 700 within three (3) months of employment.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license from state of residency.
