Job Description:
The Special Education Teacher develops, implements, and continuously refines an instructional program tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities. This role ensures the highest quality educational experience by fostering academic success, social-emotional growth, and personal development in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Qualifications:

Must possess or be eligible for a Virginia teaching license with an endorsement in Special Education.

Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs), instructional strategies, and accommodations for students with disabilities.

Proficiency in implementing differentiated instruction and behavior management strategies.

Commitment to professional growth, reflective teaching, and responsiveness to student needs.

Experience with assistive technology and tools to support diverse learners.
