Floyd Lee Locums is seeking a Physician Assistant Neonatology for a locum tenens job in Shreveport, Louisiana. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Neonatology Discipline : Physician Assistant Start Date : 01 / 20 / 2025 Duration : 52 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days, evenings, nights, flexible Employment Type : Locum Tenens Specialty : NNP Willing to License? : yes Start Date : Jan 2025 End Date : Ongoing Schedule Needed : 24, 16 or 8 hour shifts Reason for Change : Increased patient census Other Support Staff : RN's, RRT's, Residents, Fellows, Mid-levels and there is always a Neonatologist 24 / 7 Call Required : No Type of Facility : Hospital with a Level 3 NICU, teaching facility Procedures : NRP, PALS, must have at least 3 years of recent experience working in a Level III NICU but they prefer Level IV experience. Very high acuity cases. PIC Line experience preferred, there is not a PIC line team and the NNP's do them. Providing care for infants 23 weeks to 1 year of life with variety of issues. NNPs attend high risk deliveries with support from the NICU RNs and RTs so they must have recent experience attending deliveries and be comfortable with it.
