We are hiring for our St. Pete- EDGE DISTRICT location. We are currently looking for a part time and a full time barber.

We opened our doors in 1999 to rave reviews from our clients and now have over 130 locations nationwide. We are looking for barbers who have a passion for hair, their clients and who enjoy working with a wide variety of personalities. Responsibilities:  

• Greet clients at the front desk and escort them to the chair. 
• Provide a thorough consultation with the client with hair services. 
• Provide various Floyd’s services. (Cut, color, shampoo, blow-dry, waxing, beard trim, neck shave, and shoulder massage)
• Escort clients back to the front desk, assist with check out and scheduling their next visit.  
• Keep the station clean and organized by sweeping and cleaning around the station.
• Attend ongoing training classes. 
• Educate clients and recommend retail products (earning a commission on each sale). 
• Follow all safety standards when dealing with stylist tools, and in-shop ergonomics. 
• Have fun!

Qualifications:  

• Must have an active Cosmetologist/Barber license in the state of Florida with at least one year of experience behind the chair.
• Willing to be a team player with a positive outlook and attitude. 
• Willing and able to build a book of business, ask for referrals and market themselves.
• Must be reliable and punctual for all scheduled shifts. 
• Provide exceptional customer service. 
• Ability to stand for sustained periods of time.

Schedule: 

• Up to an 8-hour shift

Supplemental pay types: 

• Commissioned pay with minimum hourly guarantee

Experience: 

• Hair Styling/barbering: 2 years (Preferred) 
• Book of at least 15-20 Clients a Week (Preferred)

License/Certification: 

• Barbering License 
• Cosmetology License
