Tree Climber/Trimmer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tree Trimmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the health and aesthetics of trees and shrubs through proper trimming and care techniques. This role requires a strong understanding of tree care practices, safety protocols, and the ability to operate specialized equipment. The Tree Trimmer will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure high-quality landscape maintenance.

Duties

• Perform tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and enhance appearance.
• Assess tree health and identify issues such as disease or pest infestations.
• Operate bucket trucks and other equipment safely to access high branches.
• Utilize rigging techniques for safe removal of large branches or trees.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety standards are met.
• Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to execute comprehensive care plans.
• Follow all safety protocols while working in various outdoor environments.

Skills

• Proficiency in tree trimming techniques and tree care practices.
• Experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, and garden management.
• Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for mapping tree locations is a plus.
• Ability to operate bucket trucks safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of rigging methods for safe tree removal.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
