Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Busser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dining area remains clean and organized, allowing our guests to enjoy their meals in a pleasant atmosphere. You will work closely with the waitstaff and kitchen team to maintain the flow of service and enhance the overall dining experience.

Duties

• Assist servers by clearing tables promptly after guests finish their meals.
• Clean and reset tables for new guests, ensuring they are ready for service.
• Help maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverage items.
• Support catering events by helping with setup and breakdown as required.
• Handle food items safely and adhere to food handling guidelines to ensure guest safety.
• Assist with other tasks as directed by management to enhance operational efficiency.

Skills

• Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurants or hotels, is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A helpful attitude with a willingness to assist others, including waitstaff and kitchen personnel.
• Knowledge of proper food handling techniques is a plus.
• Experience with bussing or similar roles is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
