What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver - Own Vehicle position at FLR Driver Recruiting?
We are hiring drivers to drive their own vehicles! (must have a SUV or bigger). This is a Seasonal Position for our PEAK SEASON 2024 (NOVEMBER through DECEMBER). FedEx Ground Flex (A.V.P.)
Drivers are paid $19 Per Hour (W2 taxable wages), Plus .60 a mile (non-taxable reimbursement).
**Top performers will be considered for training for our full-time staff if interested.**
Schedule: Full-time is 5 days a week. Flexible days
1. Delivery Execution: Safely operate your own personal Truck or SUV
2. Package Handling: Using a company issued scanner
3. Time Management: Efficiently manage time to meet daily delivery deadlines
4. Customer Service: Professionally interact with customers
5. Safe Driving: Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety guidelines
7. Documentation: Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and documentation
8. Team Work: Work collaboratively with other team members, supervisors, and management
9. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to earn extra money in 2024-2025. Work hours are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and routes will vary depending on the team's daily needs. Each day will start and finish at the New Hill, NC FedEx Terminal, and we service areas such as Pittsboro, Chapel Hill, New Hill, and Moncure.
