We are seeking an experienced Painter/Blaster to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for organizing and planning the use of painting and blasting equipment and materials for various projects. Your expertise will ensure that our equipment is properly maintained and ready for operation.

Physical Demands
The physical demands of this job include standing for long periods, using hands and fingers to feel and manipulate objects, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouch or crawling, and talking or hearing. You must also frequently walk and regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
You will be exposed to fumes and may need to wear a respirator at times. Occasionally, you will work at heights using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The noise level in the work environment is typical of a manufacturing facility.

We are seeking an experienced Painter/Blaster to join our team. Responsibilities
- Operate spray painting equipment with brushes and rolls to paint surfaces
- Abrade metal or hard-composition objects to remove scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt using abrasive-blasting equipment
- Examine and measure finished surfaces to ensure conformance to specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions

Required Skills and Qualifications
- 2 years' experience preferred
- Experience with various coatings, prep work, and blasting methods
- Experience with multi-part epoxies preferred
- Working knowledge of Mil thickness, finish requirements, etc.
- NACE experience is a plus
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements including but not limited to fire hazards, compressed gases, electrical, chemical, and mechanical devices
- Ability to follow written or verbal instructions
- Computer skills: ability to use the computer for time tracking purposes
