To be successful in this role, you'll need 2 years' experience in painting and blasting, preferably with various coatings, prep work, and blasting methods. Experience with multi-part epoxies is a plus, as is working knowledge of Mil thickness, finish requirements, etc. You'll also need NACE experience, knowledge of health and safety requirements, and ability to follow written or verbal instructions. Computer skills, specifically using the computer for time tracking purposes, are also required.

- Organize and plan the use of painting and blasting equipment and materials for various projects
- Ensure that blasting and painting equipment is properly maintained and in a ready state of operation
- Operate spray painting equipment with brushes and rolls to paint surfaces
- Abrade metal or hard-composition objects to remove scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt using abrasive-blasting equipment
- Examine and measure finished surfaces to ensure conformance to specifications
