ROLE SUMMARY
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day marketing activities of the organization short and long-term marketing strategies. This role will develop and implement strategies to strengthen the company’s market presence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, plan, and execute marketing strategies for a portfolio of brands constrained by complex regulations.
- Responsible for overseeing and optimizing processes used in marketing campaigns, ensuring efficient execution of marketing initiatives by managing marketing automation systems, analyzing data to inform decisions, and streamlining operations to maximize the impact of marketing strategies across all channels.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, retail) to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
- Communicate with peers and senior leadership concerning marketing initiatives and project metrics, as well as to brainstorm fresh strategies.
- Monitor and assess competitor marketing and promotional sales initiatives.
- Coordinate in-house marketing efforts to promote the brand to our employees.
- Organize promotional events at trade shows and other venues.
- Vendor management from sourcing to coordination execution including managing payments.
- Oversee creative services and lifestyle product projects by identifying, assembling, and coordinating opportunities; and establishing contacts.
- Prepares and/or manage marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data.
- Communicate and coordinate workflow and new opportunities to the necessary personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Experience in the Cannabis space is a requirement.
- 3 years of relevant work experience in marketing.
- 3 years of managerial experience.
- Leadership and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of online content marketing and social media development strategies.
- Knowledge of retail marketing.
- Proven experience carrying out marketing efforts, including planning, prioritizing and implementing strategies.
- Exhibit initiative and the ability to work independently as well as within a team.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has overall supervisory responsibility for the Marketing team.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment and is in-office at the HQ in Tampa, Florida. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Be able to individually lift to 25 lbs.
POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This position regularly requires long hours and occasional weekend work.
TRAVEL
Travel may be required; travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
REQUIRED EDUCATON and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications or related field
3 years relevant work experience in marketing
3 years of managerial experience
PREFERRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
3 years of relevant work experience in marketing
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Per state law, must be at least 21 years of age.
Must complete a comprehensive background check.
Must pass a drug screening.
Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
