Role Summary
We are seeking a sharp, data-driven Finance Manager to join our Tampa-based FP&A team. This role will report directly to the Associate Director of FP&A and will play a key role in uncovering performance drivers, optimizing operational spending, and translating data into meaningful business insights. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with teams across retail, cultivation, distribution, and corporate functions to support financial planning, decision-making, and strategic growth initiatives.
This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on solving problems, connecting the dots, and influencing business outcomes with data.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business performance across functions to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards that support planning, forecasting, and performance tracking
- Partner with stakeholders across departments to evaluate initiatives, track KPIs, and support value-adding decisions
- Lead variance and root cause analyses of revenue, cost, and operational metrics
- Prepare reports, decks, and insights to guide leadership discussions
- Support quarterly forecasts, annual budgeting, and ad hoc strategic projects
- Assist in the development of tools, frameworks, and best practices to improve performance visibility and operational efficiency
- Monitor financial and non-financial data to ensure data integrity and consistency across systems
Qualifications/Experience
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in FP&A, business analytics, or performance management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience building models and reports from scratch
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced), PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Working knowledge of SQL or willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights
- Experience working in dynamic, high-growth environments; cannabis or regulated industry experience is a plus
- Highly organized, proactive, and resourceful with a strong sense of ownership
Skills/Interests
- Must be a multitasker, with the ability to work on several requests simultaneously without losing focus
- Organization and initiative, good communications skills, proactive, problem-solving, time management, discretion and confidentiality are essential attributes
- Ability to build good relationships. There will be frequent contact with internal and external people, either face to face or by telephone or email
- Teamwork - collaborating with others to improve overall standards of work and service
- Technological savvy; ability to learn new software, use it daily, and train staff on its use.
