**Starting Pay:** $13.50/hour
**Hours:** 20 hours per week
**Schedule:** Tuesday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
**Location:** Fluff and Fetch Dog Grooming - 310 Kalorama St. Staunton, VA 24401

**Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Bather/Groomer’s Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our groomers with bathing, drying, and preparing pets for grooming services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves animals and is looking to gain experience in the pet grooming industry. Experience working with animals preferred, but willing to train the right candidate!

**Responsibilities:**
- Bathe and dry pets according to salon standards
- Brush and comb out pet coats- Assist groomers with handling pets during grooming sessions
- Clean and maintain grooming areas and equipment
- Provide excellent customer service to pet owners
- Ensure pets are comfortable and safe at all times
-Some administration work as needed : reception and social media posting
**Qualifications:**
- Must love animals and be comfortable working with various breeds and sizes (85 lb weigh limit)
- Prior experience in a grooming or pet care environment is a plus, but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Good communication and interpersonal skills- Reliable and punctual
