Jr. Interior Designer/Showroom Designer

DESCRIPTION:

Join our design firm and work in a creative, supportive and fun environment. We’re seeking a self-motivated, friendly, creative individual with the ability to successfully balance multiple projects to join our award-winning team of designers. The ideal team member will go above and beyond to collaborate with our team to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment with both the design team and clients alike.

RESPONSIBILITIES: (To include but are not limited to)

·      Schedule showroom consultations with customers, with the goal of identifying potential design clients

·      Prepare client presentations

·      Assist clients with furniture appointments in showroom

·      Move clients smoothly and with excellence from order through installation process

·      Provide product knowledge to customers and ensure a positive showroom experience

·      Partner w/ Showroom Coordinator and Operations Manager to monitor orders, cancellations, ship dates, etc.

·      Determine retail pricing and adjust pricing/discounts as needed on furniture and merchandise.

·      Attend weekly team meetings, meetings with sales reps, and attend out-of-town markets

·      Collaborate with Fluff team to create social media posts, reels, stories, etc.

·      Coordinate with showroom team to plan monthly promotions and special events

·      Pursue connections within the Elkhorn Merchant community

·      Plan, schedule and oversee monthly refresh of showroom

·      Keep Fluff showroom stocked, merchandised and attractive

·      Oversee monthly and seasonal store refreshes

REQUIREMENTS :

Minimum 2-year Associates degree in interior design. 2 years experience highly preferred, retail experience preferred.
