Chiller Test and Service Technician

We are currently seeking a Chiller Test and Service Technician at our Lansing facility to test newly built systems, and provide service and support to existing systems in the field. Pay is based upon experience and ability level. The right candidate would possess, or be willing to learn the following.

• Ability to vacuum and charge a refrigeration system.

• Ability to recover refrigerant according to EPA guidelines.

• Ability to braze and solder copper and stainless steel joints.

• Understanding of simple or complex refrigeration circuits.

• Understanding of simple or complex plumbing circuits.

• Ability to understand and troubleshoot simple or complex electrical circuits.

• Ability to troubleshoot basic refrigeration issues.

• Willingness to work safely at all times.

• Able to work comfortably and professionally with customers, vendors or other professionals in person or over the phone.

• Ability to keep proper records of testing documentation and service reports.

• Willing/able to travel within the Continental United States if/when needed

• Ability to be responsible with company property (service vans, equipment)

• Must be willing to work in a fast paced environment

Typical Hours: (4) 10 hour days, Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm
