Fluid Motion, LLC - Manufacturer of Cutwater Boats and Ranger Tugs - is looking to expand its operations of its Arlington facility.
Summary: Constructs and repairs finished woodwork and structural carpentry for marine application by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties likely to be assigned.
- Builds cabinets, benches, partitions, floors, and trim.
- Builds cabinets and other wooden equipment in carpenter shop.
- Other duties as directed.
Ideal Knowledge/Skills:
- Grinders
- Air powered saws
- Table Saw
- Traditional woodworking tools
- Woodworking and basic assembly
- Finishing experience is a plus
- Hand and table routers
- Screw guns
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular and consistent basis.
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift, climb, balance and reach for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for the entire duration of shift.
- Ability to keep up with fast pace environments.
- Ability to use hands for the duration of the shift.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
