Extrusion Line Operator

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Extrusion Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining high-speed extrusion equipment to produce high-quality rubber products. The ideal candidate will have experience working with precision measuring instruments, have a strong understanding of the extrusion process and machining principles, and possess a keen eye for quality inspection. This is a fast-paced position that requires attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain extrusion equipment to produce high-quality rubber products
- Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments and calipers to ensure product meets specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the extrusion process
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating equipment
- Assemble and disassemble machinery as needed
- Work in a fast-paced production environment and meet productivity targets
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals
- Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure a safe and organized work environment

Experience:
The ideal candidate will have experience working with rubber compounds and extrusion equipment. A background in machining and CNC operations is also highly desirable. Prior experience with precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, is essential. Candidates should also have experience with quality inspection and a strong understanding of basic math skills.
