What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Supervisor- Extrusion position at Fluid Routing Solutions?
In this role you will provide assistance and guidance to the production associates in order to maintain a level of productivity and quality that meets customer requirements. Tasks will include accomplishing company goals through lean manufacturing, continuous improvement in a safe and effective work environment within the guideline of company policies.
Additional responsibilities include (and are not limited to): Ensures conformance with environmental, health and safety regulations, policies and practices
- Provide assigned associates with necessary resources required to perform job responsibilities
- Monitor daily work schedules utilizing kanban to ensure timely completion of orders
- Oversee the operation of all equipment to ensure safe and proper working ability with scheduled preventive maintenance
- Coordinate on-the-job training and cross training to ensure associates are capable of performing job responsibilities
- Assist to resolve associate issues and concerns within the guidelines of the company policy*Develop new process methods for continuous improvement of quality, efficiency, and effectiveness
- Assure proper administration of company rules and regulations*Facilitate ongoing safety and communications
- Maintain a quality system that meets or exceeds the requirements for TS 16949 certification
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations and practices
- Maintain 5S housekeeping assignments on a daily basis
- Ensure standardized work practices are utilized in the work areas
- Provide department associates with proper training, tools, and equipment to produce a quality product
- Monitor Kanban's to assure efficient utilization of equipment and associates
- Oversee preventive maintenance for safety and to ensure ongoing future operations
- Coordinate needs with other departments and resolve processing issues

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
