Quality Auditor/Inspector

The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all processes and manufactured products satisfy industry, customer, and company requirements.

Duties/Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Conducting regular audits of products and processes to assure adherence to company policies and quality standards.
• Identify and communicate deviations identified in process or product requirements.
• Assure timely identification and containment of defective products to prevent escape to the next process or external customer.
• Prepare daily process and product audit report for communication to next production shift as well as departmental and plant management.
• Collaborating with other departments to correct deviation from process or product requirements.
• Providing training and guidance to production operators on product quality requirements.
• Communication with production operators of product quality concerns through Quality Alerts.

· Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Strong knowledge of quality control methods and standards
• An understanding of hose manufacturing processes, equipment, measuring devices and their relationships.
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 2 Years’ plant experience or equivalent training.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged sitting, standing and walking.

· Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, squat, lift and reaching

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

· Must be able to work and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with the plant.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
