Senior Buyer

Job Description

This is a remote position.

Senior Buyer   will oversee the procurement and acquisition of vehicles for our large scale rental fleet. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing high-volume fleet purchases, establishing and maintaining relationships with OEMs and leveraging incentive programs to optimize costs. This role will play a critical part in ensuring that our fleet meets operations needs, aligns with budgetary goals and is acquired through the most advantageous programs against.

Requirements

Experience :

Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet acquisition or fleet management,

preferably in the rental industry.

Proven expertise in large-scale vehicle purchasing and working directly with OEMs.

Skills :

Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to secure favorable pricing and

terms.

Familiarity with VIP discount structures, fleet incentive programs, and rebate

processes.

Analytical skills to evaluate cost-benefit scenarios and fleet performance metrics.

Knowledge :

Comprehensive understanding of vehicle acquisition processes, leasing options,

and fleet management practices.

Up-to-date knowledge of automotive industry trends and emerging fleet

technologies.

Other Requirements :

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Proficiency in fleet management systems and procurement software.

Ability to travel as needed to meet with OEMs, vendors, and other stakeholders.
