Born in Motorsports & Powersports, our products are now relied on by winning NASCAR, IndyCar, Trophy Truck, and other professional racing teams.
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with a focus on Pump Design, 3D modeling in Creo, fluid systems, and pump specialization, you play a pivotal role in the birth of our next-generation products. You will be part of the team contributing to design from conceptual sketches to tangible products.
By skillfully integrating 3D models of fluid systems and pumps using Creo, you marry functional requirements with aesthetic appeal. This ensures our products are not only innovative and visually compelling but also reliable and optimized for fluid dynamics and mechanical performance, making them scalable for manufacturing.
What You Own
- Design : Mechanical design and aesthetic development of new consumer electronic fluid system products from initial concept to production, ensuring design integrity and brand alignment.
- Experience with pump products and pump design.
- Design Specifics :
- Design and optimize pump systems using Creo, including detailed modeling of pump components and assemblies, to meet specified technical requirements and operational efficiencies.
- Analyze pump performance within the fluid systems, employing Creo simulations to evaluate flow dynamics, pressure drops, and energy consumption.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to translate 3D pump models into production-ready drawings and specifications, ensuring accurate and feasible fabrication.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design issues related to pumps in fluid systems, applying engineering principles and Creo modeling tools to improve reliability and functionality.
- Engineering Excellence : Solve complex design and engineering challenges, focusing on innovation, cost-efficiency, performance, and environmental sustainability.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with electrical engineers, industrial designers, product managers, and manufacturing experts to integrate seamless mechanical designs with electronic systems, ensuring both manufacturability and design excellence.
- Simulation and Validation : Employ advanced simulation tools to test design concepts, validate functionality and compliance with regulatory standards, and ensure the durability and reliability of products under real-world conditions.
- Prototyping and Material Science : Guide the prototyping process, selecting cutting-edge materials and overseeing fabrication to test and refine product designs.
- Innovation and Trend Analysis : Monitor the latest trends in design and mechanical engineering, incorporating emerging technologies and materials to stay ahead of industry curves.
- Leadership and Development : Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
