What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contract Field Service Technician position at Fluidra North America?
Fluidra is looking for a Contract Field Service Technician to join our team at our Built Right facility in Punta Gorda, FL.
WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
The Built Right Field Service Technician specializes in the maintenance, repair and installation of heat pumps in a timely and professional manner. Additionally, you will:
- Perform service calls and manage calls and schedule in an organized and timely fashion.
- Deliver Built Right heat pumps and equipment pads
- Repair heat pumps that are produced/warrantied by Jandy and providing any support that can be given for other Jandy products
- Provide serial numbers and photographic evidence of each delivery made and accurately describe each service call as well as listing each part that is used
- Relay quality concerns to the production team and service manager
- Document and ensure an accurate inventory of materials/parts stocked on their service vehicle
- Ensure service vehicle is running in good condition, as well as taking care of any provided tools/equipment
- Provide quality customer service with good communication and professionalism
WHAT WE SEEK
- 3 years of hands on mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting experience
- Type 2 EPA Certification required
- Ability to unload a 200lb box onto a dolly from van/truck independently
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
- Must take direction well, follow instructions carefully and exercise sound judgment while assisting customers
- Communicate & present effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations
- Working knowledge of MS Office and email software
- Must have clean driving record
EDUCATION
- High school diploma or equivalent required, some trade school or college preferred
