What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator (Print Shop Technician) position at Fluidra North America?
Fluidra is looking for a Machine Operator (Print Shop Technician) to join our team in Sparks, MD.
WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
- Operate and maintain printing equipment, including printing press, die cutter, and other machinery.
- Prepare materials for printing, including building and printing screens and setting up machines.
- Mixing and matching inks to fall within specifications throughout the printing process.
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality and consistency in prints.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on equipment as instructed by the Production Lead.
- Ensure the proper handling and storage of raw materials and finished products.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to workplace safety standards.
- Collaborate with team member(s) to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
WHAT WE SEEK
- Familiarity with basic machinery or manufacturing processes (experience in printing is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic problem-solving skills and willingness to learn technical operations.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
EDUCATION
- High school diploma or equivalent.

The expected Hourly Rate Range $24 - $26 .
