What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Fluke Health Solutions?
Come join our team as a Material Handler! As a Material Handler in Fluke Biomedical, you will be responsible for supporting the production cells with lean inventory control standards.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate & perform picking and shipping steps of inter-org & external orders
- Receive & route material to designated locations
- Kanban bin fill and execution
- Maintain necessary records and files of transactions, verifying accuracy of shipments against bills of lading, invoices or other records on Oracle or other systems.
- Set up locations in Oracle and resolve purchase order receiving discrepancies and receiving discrepancies with planner-buyer.
- Sustain material presentations in the cells utilizing FBS tools including Fortive Material System (FMS) and 5S.
- Physically perform and transact cycle counts of materials.
- Investigate and reconcile bad counts with assistance of senior material handler
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a Manufacturing environment including repetitive use of upper extremities.
- Position may require occasional heavy lifting (> 50 lbs) or movement of objects up to 40 lbs.
- Safety glasses may be required.
- Must be able to read, speak and understand English fluently in order to communicate and provide directions to various team members in operations
- Available to work a minimum of 10% overtime when required.
Preferred:
- Minimum of 2-4 years of material and Kanban execution experience
- Oracle User
- Experience working in lean, continuous improvement manufacturing environment.

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.
Pay Range
The pay range for this position (in local currency) is 18.02 - 33.44 hourly
