The Verification Engineer is a core member for the Fluke Health Solutions (FHS) Design Engineering team. They are responsible for executing testing on new products, as well as new features and improvements on existing products. They ensure all software and hardware design outputs adhere to the high quality and compliance requirements of FHS

Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 79,300.00 - 147,300.00

The Verification Engineer is a core member for the Fluke Health Solutions (FHS) Design Engineering team. They are responsible for executing testing on new products, as well as new features and improvements on existing products. They ensure all software and hardware design outputs adhere to the high quality and compliance requirements of FHS
Primary Responsibilities
- Test new features and improvements in existing product firmware and hardware
- Ensure product quality and compliance through close interface with NPI Design engineers by performing product evaluation testing throughout development.
- Review and provide input for product requirements, confirming that they meet key verification criteria of complete, objective, and testable.
- Execute formal test plans according to project schedule with a primary focus on quality and delivery.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive execution of ideas (continuous improvement mindset). Propose and establish efficient test and data capture methods using automation.
- Key member of Design Engineering team creating solutions for the healthcare market.
- Problem solving through Engineering analysis
- Continuous improvement mindset to improve processes and products
- Willingness to take ownership and be accountable, must be self-driven, highly motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Foster a work environment where diverse perspectives are welcomed and encouraged.
- Positive attitude with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Consistently operates with high integrity
- Ability to work in cross-functional office environment.
- Deadlines and occasional long hours to support projects and new product timelines.
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent
- 0-3 years of related V&V experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Competency in a data analysis tool
- Ability to perform basic circuit analysis
- Familiar and understands objected oriented design and development
- Capable with engineering tools such as: oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, logic analyzers, debuggers, programmers, etc.
- Experience with Agile HW/SW development
- Past work with C for embedded systems
- Previous use of Python for data analysis and/or testing automation
- Experience with source control (SVN, Git, etc.)
- Demonstrated history of effectively communicating with geographically dispersed teams
- Experience working with healthcare products
