Responsibilities:
- Working a territory to close business on renewal opportunities for our Fluke Premium Care (FPC) customers from initial contact, to quoting, to close of the deal
- You will be responsible for the quota based on renewal FPC sales in your assigned territory and work with outside sales teams when necessary to close the business
- Ability to communicate product changes, FPC benefits and cost benefit analysis of FPC Support program to both customers and distributor partners
- Point of contact for customers and distributors for FPC account information.
- Communicate feedback to Marketing and Sales on FPC renewal rate and loss reasons in order to maximize renewal rates.
- Ability to work in tandem with other FPC members on overlapping territories to provide maximum coverage and customer contact with minimal duplication of efforts
- Ability to work with field sales team to promote and sell FPC products to customers. Good working knowledge of products, industry, and customers.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Inside office environment.
Qualifications:
- BS degree in communications, marketing, or technical field, and 2-4 years related outbound sales experience with technical products desired.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and writing skills are required to interact with customers, other employees and management; requires the ability to anticipate and solve problems
- Ability to interact with a variety of people at all levels both internally and externally, especially in building ongoing customer relationships
- Ability to learn complex quoting skills in both MS Dynamics and Excel
- Ability to communicate technical information to facilitate sales opportunities with customers
- Negotiation skills and the ability to drive a win-win situation with customers
- Complex problem solving skills
- Ability to work through procurement processes to secure Purchase Orders both direct and through a variety of distributors and resellers
- Monthly forecasting to product lines and quota plans
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with reasonable supervision
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Previous experience with MS Dynamics or comparable CRM desired.
- Demonstrate both personal integrity and the ability to exercise good judgment
- Previous experience selling computer or related electronic products /services
