Fall 2025 - Co-op - Quality Technician - Aiken, SC

The purpose of this position is to work on general activities associated with supplier quality surveillance such as tracking Quality metrics and providing consistent reporting.  This role assists and supports the Quality specialists and engineers as requested.     • Maintain supplier quality surveillance (SQS) logs and input to databases (such as MatMan, SAP, Invoice commitment, etc.) • Perform support of basic SQS activities • Stay current/updated with technical and functional developments in area of specialty through continuing education, conferences, and periodicals, for example, and continue to develop in-depth specialization, if desired • Participate in Fluor University for training and career development • Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards • Plan, organize, and carry out assignments as directed • Other duties as assigned• A combination of education and directly related experience equal to two (2) years; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering/technical field of study preferred • One (1) year of related quality assurance/project experience • Basic to intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing and email as well as the basic use of spreadsheets and electronic presentations • Oral and written communication and computer skills • Basic interpersonal skills • Basic leadership and decision-making skillsUS Citizenship Required Position located in Aiken, SC Must be currently enrolled in College/University.
