Fluor provides innovative solutions for our clients to meet the demand for major new transportation
programs due to aging infrastructure and continuing urbanization. Our leadership and extensive experience
in design-build execution provides high-value solutions for bridges, highways, rail and transit systems, and
toll roads.
This position prepares detailed financial schedules and analysis. This requires an understanding of the activities being performed with respect to accounting and finance theory. This is an entry level position. The position is based in Greenville, SC for the first 12-18 months and will transfer to a U.S. based project site after that period.
• May assist in the performance of budget versus actual analysis, identify variances, and document causes
• Make proactive, positive contributions to the team
• Clearly communicate financial results
• Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
• Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines
• Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff
• Other duties as assigned• Accredited four (4) year degree in Finance or Accounting
• Must be able and willing to relocate, travel domestically and work in various domestic construction project location to be considered for this position• Demonstrated basic interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability
• Ability to deliver timely and accurate information
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other personal computer applications
• Ability to learn and use Fluor’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and other information technology systems• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
• Keep apprised of changes in governmental, professional, and internal reporting requirements, accounting principles and standards through analysis of published materials, attendance at professional meetings and seminars, and discussions with corporate-wide financial professionals
