Responsibilities
As a Food Services Manager, you will oversee operations and personnel within your designated Area of Responsibility (AOR), ensuring efficient, high-quality service delivery. Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth execution, client satisfaction, and strong financial performance.
- Coordinate with various teams, personnel, and clients to ensure effective operations, while managing the availability of skilled personnel and resources.
- Ensure the safe and clean preparation of nutritious, visually appealing meals. Provide culinary guidance and instruction to subordinate employees, subcontractors, and/or labor broker personnel.
- Oversee inventory control, ordering processes, and proper food storage to ensure consistency and reduce waste.
- Ensure all food service operations comply with health and safety regulations, while adhering to approved menu plans.
- Maintain and implement training programs to ensure all personnel meet performance standards and safety requirements.
- Promote and maintain a safe and sanitary working environment at all times.
- Ensure the quality and quantity of food prepared and delivered meets client expectations.
- Foster teamwork by working cooperatively with other staff members to achieve operational goals.
- As directed by management, you may supervise employees or subcontractor personnel in accordance with the “General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities” addendum.
- Position may be located in diverse environments, ranging from typical office settings to challenging project worksites with harsh living and working conditions.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at an intermediate level, as required for job functions.
- Basic physical ability to perform job functions and ensure safety standards are met.

Basic Job Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience, with 6–9 years of related experience.
- Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, or other specialized applications necessary for job functions.
- Must be a qualified cook with the ability to manage food service operations effectively.
- Must possess and maintain TB Med 530 - Tri Service Food Code or ServSafe Certification upon hire and throughout employment.
