Within the Mission Solutions Human Resources team, this role provides professional guidance, coordination, and support in the effective and consistent application of compensation administration policies and practices. Administers and maintains various compensation-related data management tracking and assists in coordinating corporate-level compensation programs and initiatives. Provides advice and support to Human Resources Business Partners and Org Unit Managers, in the application of compensation management principles, guidelines, procedures, and best practices.
This position will also assist in the execution of Fluor’s talent and organizational development strategy by coordinating, developing, and implementing the full scope of existing and new talent development programs and services as well as facilitating and developing training courses.

Compensation Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide knowledge and instruction to Human Resources Business Partners and Org Unit Managers as appropriate in the day-to-day application of compensation analysis and reviews.
- Maintain and update compensation data regarding all business lines within Mission Solutions.
- Assist and collaborate, as appropriate, in the planning, coordination, facilitation, administration, and reporting of the annual salary planning program and/or bonus programs for Mission Solutions.
- Acts as a point of contact for Human Resources Business Partners and Recruiters, as appropriate, on job classification and reclassification and associated compensation issues.
- Manipulate data and formulas in spreadsheets and other software applications to produce complex reports and metrics.
- Support recruiters and HR business partners, providing market total compensation analysis and recommendations; consult to recommend consistency in the compensation program.
- Assist with preparation of employee compensation communications presentation materials, managerial guides, and policies for the implementation of the compensation programs.
- Coordinate, implement, and evaluate Fluor training programs, needs analyses, and produce subsequent training plans.
- Create, maintain, and customize reports on performance and talent management programs.
- Contribute to collaborate the use of Fluor’s portals, systems, channels, and communities, as necessary.
- Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of personnel policies and procedures.
- May interface with groups inside and outside the organization.
- Input personnel/position changes and other information (e.g., salaries, locations, authorized access, etc.) into computerized databases.
- Update and maintain various reports.
- Participate in information gathering, verification, and response to routine compensation surveys and related inquiries in the areas of classification and compensation.
- Research and answer questions from e-mail, in-person, and telephone contacts from the public and employees involving a variety of areas, including employment, classification and compensation matters, policies, practices, salary structure, general referrals to departments or business areas.
- May function as a group participant and perform routine and more complex Human Resources projects on special Human Resource projects.
- Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines.
- Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff.
