This position performs the planning and scheduling of daily facility and equipment maintenance activities in addition to all work associated with predetermined facility outages in support of the Fluor contract at Rand Whitney Containerboard in Montville, CT.

This position performs the planning and scheduling of daily facility and equipment maintenance activities in addition to all work associated with predetermined facility outages in support of the Fluor contract at Rand Whitney Containerboard in Montville, CT.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Follows all safety policies and procedures
- Conducts and leads necessary meetings to schedule and plan all facility outages with applicable stakeholders
- Create and schedule all relevant outage tasks within Microsoft Project
- Validates service requests, then converts the service request to a work order in the CMMS (Maximo)
- Performs regular field walks to identify and document job requirements
- Starts the job plan with safety responsibilities and ensures all Fluor safety policies are incorporated into the job plan
- Estimates the resources required to complete all planned work
- Orders required parts from inventory or vendors and ensures critical spare parts are established for new or existing equipment and kept in inventory
- Provide documents as required for tasks to be performed such as drawings, SOP’s, etc.
- Once job is planned, converts work order to ready to be scheduled backlog
- Maintains a minimum of two weeks of work orders ready to be scheduled
- Reviews backlog weekly with the team (operations and maintenance) to identify priority of work to be scheduled for the following week, which includes PM/PdM activities
- Coordinates the daily schedule and has the work order/job packets printed for at least the next day’s work
- Helps coordinate zero energy communications so it can be scheduled with all participants
- Reviews the completed work orders for comments and identifies required follow up work or action items
- Passes completed work orders to the Office Manager who will record closing comments/data and set WO to complete in the CMMS
- Contacts vendors and contractors when required and establishes the full scope of the work to be performed.
- Participates with the reliability team on predictive maintenance activities and continuous improvement projects
- Is responsible to rotate through the weekend coverage procedure
- Will be the lead point of contact during all scheduled down days and outages
- Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements
- Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and four (4) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eight (8) years if non-degreed
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
- Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
- Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Salary Range
84,000 to 146,000
Market Rate
The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
