What are the responsibilities and job description for the Integrated Logistics and Life Cycle Asset Mgt Spec position at Fluor Federal Petroleum Operations?
Inventory Management: Manage drawdown spares requirements to ensure compliance with SPR Reliability, Availability, Maintainability (RAM), and Property control requirements. Generate and maintain functional structure in SAP, develop and maintain equipment Bills of Material, develop Stock Level Allocation Model parameters, and set requirements and stocking levels for spare parts and equipment. Use SAP and ILS custom reports, such as the drawdown spares report and provisioning reports, for the analysis of logistics data. Assist the Sr ILS/LAM Engineer to conduct the Biennial review of the SPR inventory and perform Determination of Economical Repair analysis of catalog items. Such analysis may also include non-routine, ad hoc analysis of technical issues that arise. Interface with the SPR sites, New Orleans personnel, and vendors in conduct of analysis. Write Maintenance work orders and related material. Generate Purchase Requisitions for the purchase and/or service of Pump/Motors/Valves/Actuators. Perform technical evaluation of vendor submittals to determine compliance with SPR technical specifications and ILS policies/goals. Provide direction to Provisioning analysts to ensure efficient and accurate maintenance of SAP data and records. Assist the Sr ILS/LAM Engineer in the performance of the SPR Equipment Obsolescence program. Technical Support: Provide technical support on SPR mechanical equipment, materials, and systems. Analyze technical data and logistics policies to control entry of new items during initial provisioning and later during routine provisioning maintenance. Support the cross reference of related items and the identification of interchangeable/substitute spare parts. Assist with generation of Enterprise Change Proposals (ECPs) to address technology improvements, product changes, and obsolescence issues. Design Review/Project Implementation: Participate in the design review process for engineering design packages and ECPs and ensure that logistics requirements such as equipment standardization, documentation, and maintenance requirements are incorporated.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a relevant technical field and a minimum of five years related work experience. Eight years of experience in Logistics, materials management or procurement with a HS diploma will be accepted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree. Must possess comprehensive understanding of mechanical oil field equipment, particularly pumps, motors, and valves. Must be proficient in reading and understanding multi-discipline drawings and specifications. Must have excellent communication skills to interface and coordinate with site personnel, procurement, and vendors Must develop effective technical and non-technical correspondence for varied audiences that may include management, coworkers, clients, vendors, and visitors. Based on the duties of the position the incumbent may be required to maintain a security clearance DESIRED: Experience in Logistics, material management, and/or procurement is desirable. Experience with SAP is preferred but not mandatory. Basic knowledge and understanding of rules and regulations relating to procurement practices as defined under DEAR and FAR is beneficial
