As a Senior Construction Quality Control Manager at Fluor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects that meet our clients' expectations. Your expertise in construction quality activities, including civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering, will enable you to develop and implement effective quality plans and site quality manuals.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and becoming familiar with project technical requirements, providing quality input to purchase orders or subcontract bid documents, assessing supplier capabilities, and developing and implementing the project audit plan. They will also establish quality training and certification programs, ensure that project and construction execution is being monitored, and verify that quality reports/audit reports are issued to appropriate parties.
Key Tasks:
- Review and quickly become familiar with the project technical requirements such as the prime contract, Quality Program Plan, and applicable codes, standards, and specifications
- Provide quality input to purchase orders or subcontract bid documents
- Assess the ability of the suppliers to meet the Quality requirements of the project
- Develop and implement the project audit plan
- Establish quality training and certification programs
The ideal candidate will have an accredited two or three-year Technical or Engineering Technology diploma or global equivalent in an applicable field of study and fifteen years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to seventeen years. They must be able to communicate effectively with audiences that include management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Accredited two or three-year Technical or Engineering Technology diploma or global equivalent in an applicable field of study
- 15 years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to 17 years
- Ability to communicate effectively with various audiences
